does anyone know when bowdoin is releasing RD?

I think recent pattern has been a Friday evening. Last year it was Friday March 17th, and my D got an email from them on Monday the 13th letting her know this would be the date, so they will probably give you a heads up several days in advance. Good luck!

I just got a portal reminder making sure that my portal works and whatnot. So I guess that means this weekend.

Yeah, very interesting because other colleges have already removed stuff from their portals.

Any idea if they have removed stuff in previous years? What schools have removed stuff, do you know?

No idea about previous years. But Pomona, Skidmore, Denison, Colgate all of these removed the application checklist (Pomona actually brought it back after a while and idk why lol). The thing is I cannot really find any trends for Bowdoin from previous years…

Good to know - thanks! I’m waiting for Denison’s decision tomorrow night so think I’ll check that portal now. :slight_smile: Don’t think Bowdoin does anything though

Yes - makes sense. I just checked schools I have been admitted to and the FA checklist is still in the portal. So maybe no FA checklist is not great for a school when it is missing. Bowdoin has everything up still b/c they sent us the email to check portals for missing things - or to w/d if we wanted to. Either way - good luck to you!

Doesn’t that email suggest it can’t be this week? If decisions were about to be released then why would they be asking for updates that they don’t have time to consider?

Do they typically release on “LAC” Day with other colleges like Pomona, Amherst etc?

I know that last year they released same Fri evening as Pomona and Carleton.
