<p>Lol the new guy in charge at BP has a BS in engineering. I guess engineering is superior damn, he also holds an MBA from SMU. Go Mustangs … He also holds a degree from the Thunderbird Business school.</p>
<p>When you are at that level, degree and education does not matter. It is all about politics and experience.</p>
<p>Was the previous BP CEO a poor businessman? no, but all companies need a scapegoat when something like this happens. I am sure being ousted is the least of his concerns. He probably received an amazing package for stepping down.</p>

<p>I believe it’s $18 million and he “gets his life back.” Also continues to have a job somewhere in Russia. I heard some comic last night say that he can’t really ruin anything in Russia, since they already have the Black Sea.</p>
