My daughter got an email saying Brandeis EA decisions out tomorrow. Anyone else see that as well?
ETA: Is this more of the rolling decisions?

I think Brandeis is releasing their EA in waves, my D26 got in right before Christmas. Unfortunately, it’s the highest cost (so far) of all her acceptances. She did get an email yesterday that they have joined the Tuition Exchange list, which is great- no idea on how many awards they’ll give for TE, but we updated her TE profile and added Brandeis.
Best of luck with the TE!
Parents and guardians of students who have been accepted to Brandeis … Congratulations! I want to make you aware of the Brandeis University Parents Community Facebook group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/BrandeisUniversityParentsCommunity/), which is a phenomenal resource for asking questions and getting information as your student considers a future at Brandeis. In contrast to many other Facebook groups that will come up in a search (most of which are run by third parties with no connection to the University), this group is run by parents of students and recent graduates, and it is filled with parents of students from a wide range of geographic locations with a wide range of interests (academic and otherwise). Best wishes for your student’s decision!
Are all ED2 decisions being released today?
Any idea what time decisions will be posted?
Deferred - my daughter seems to be the queen of deferrals! She will write a LOCI.
3.79 uw, 4.59 weighted TO 800 hours research, 300 hours volunteering
Financial need
Holy cow! Such an amazing record got deferred for every school she applied to?
No -she has acceptances! (She’s applied to A LOT of places) She’s in at a number of places including – St Olaf, WPI, MiamiU(Oxford) -that are all affordable. Waiting on scholarship results from URI (in with Honors). She even got into UCSD -but unless something magical happens -that one won’t be affordable. She has a ton more applications in RD and a few left from EA.
Brandeis would be great for her -because of the research -but perhaps there will be some good news in RD!
She’s has a weird high school path -and she’s Test Optional -and we have need. SO - it’s not a terribly surprising outcome.
UCSD has released the results? WPI and UCSD are both good choices if your DD goes for STEM.
UCSD is releasing in waves - my daughter got in the second wave. Her friend got the OOS scholarship last year (and is attending UCSD now) and we thought my daughter would have a chance at that as well since their stats were similiar/same high school -but I’m pretty sure that would have come with the acceptance if she was going to get it ![]()
