Brandeis recently announced an Early Action option starting this year. The deadline is the same as for ED1, namely November 3.

Unweighted: 3.77, weighted 4.59, Extensive research (700 hours) and volunteering (300 hours), test optional, Biology

EA app in-UW 4.29, W 4.88, ACT 34. Will have taken 8 AP’s at graduation, our school only offers 12 total. Extensive extracurriculars and leadership, sports and theater. In a regional theater company. Biology and Theater Major/Minor or double major.

According to the Brandeis website, ED1 is Dec 15, ED2 is Feb 15, EA is Feb 1. Are these dates correct?

E-mail stated that ED1 decisions will be sent out the evening of 12/11.

I think only some - my kid’s email said they’re releasing “some.” I thought decision day was 2/1?

Oh shoot. I just went to see if those who were admitted EA in December last year were mostly getting in, to see if it’s a good sign that they’re hearing now - but I forgot that it’s the first year they’ve offered EA. No data.

Oops - correcting myself - I didn’t realize previous poster was taking about ED. My kid got an email today that they’re releasing some EA decisions tomorrow (12/18).

For my D this is a top choice. Waiting on one other school to compare financials. But she loved it.
