Recently, Brandeis and Oberlin announced they are introducing an Early Action option in addition to the existing Early Decision starting this fall. The application deadlines are as follows:
Brandeis EA: November 3
Oberlin EA: November 15
If you are applying early, make sure to connect with fellow EA/ED applicants at your target schools. Plus, assess your chances by taking our applicant surveys!
As the number of graduating high school seniors declines, colleges need to encourage applications in creative ways. Smart move by both schools.
Oberlin has been marketing their EA, no application fee, no supplemental essay hard to us and D26. Agree it is a good move to get more folks who are interested but unwilling to commit to a school early to apply.
