I think that BB is by far the best scripted, acted and directed show on tv. I’m both excited to see the final episodes and sad that the series is ending.

Been binge watching for a few months & ready for the final season. Amazing script, but at this point they can kill off everyone but Hank, Saul and Walt Jr.

I’ve been doing a binge re-watch this summer. It reminds me of how much humor there is in the show, which I missed on the first viewing because I was afraid someone would be killed any minute.

I hope the Saul Goodman prequel series happens! From one of the “New York” articles:
If he and Bob Odenkirk are willing, why would anyone at AMC hesitate?

I was so happy a couple of weeks ago when the Emmy nominations were announced and so many from BB were honored: Bryan Cranston (of course), Aaron Paul (ditto), Jonathan Banks (yay!), Anna Gunn (ditto); also nominations for drama series, direction, and writing. Several technical award nominations too, including cinematography. I think it’s the best-filmed show I’ve seen since Sopranos.

The supporting actors on this show are so good it’s almost ridiculous, and too bad that more of them don’t break through to nominations in those very stacked categories. There’s still this next season for Dean Norris, Betsy Brandt and Bob Odenkirk to qualify, and I hope they all do.

Been re-watching Season 5 in preparation. I can’t wait for the new season to start!

I’m with you, momsquad. I really hope Hank emerges victorious. As much as I love the character of Walt, I also really want him to get his comeuppance!

Such a great show. One of the best, I agree. The transformations of the characters in the well thought out plotting is what I think best about this show. I’m rooting for Hank as well.

This is just so cool. It’s a game (free, with no monetary prizes) in which you can predict likely outcomes for this season. I would love to participate, but apparently you need to connect through Facebook to do so, and I don’t do Facebook. I have never been more tempted, though.

There’s also a pretty good 9-minute recap of the past 5 seasons on the same site. Advice: do not watch it unless you’ve already seen the show - nothing but spoilers.

I’m still mulling over what I think will happen this season. If someone doesn’t wind up dead in Walt’s swimming pool, I will be amazed.

So will it lead off with Hank coming out of the bathroom? After all he’s been through, is it even remotely possible he can maintain enough composure to get out of there without Walt remembering that book on the back of the toilet…

They tease the audience with theories about the ending, such as Walt being alive and his family all dead. That might be punishing. Or maybe not.

My favorite is that he enters the witness protection program with the name, Hal, and a whole new, strange family, i.e., the whole show is a prequel to “Malcom in the Middle.”

I just watched The Charlie Rose show and the entire hour was devoted to an interview with Vince Gilligan. The conversation about the development, writing, casting, etc. of Breaking Bad was fascinating and I strongly recommend that everyone check to see if you can catch it on your local PBS station.

The past month has been so much fun - so many BB articles, film clips, talk show appearances to enjoy. I am sorry to see the series end, but I don’t think it could have gone on several more seasons and still maintained the same level of tension and overall quality.

What is going to happen when Hank comes out of that bathroom? I really can’t imagine.

Adding - the “Ozymandias” reading is fantastic!

I was amazed that we had the Hank/Walt confrontation in the very first episode! I do love to see Walt get punched in the face ;). Things are obviously going to move quickly over the next 7 episodes and I’m very worried about Jesse.
