Breaking the Four Point

So, somehow miraculously, I’ve managed to maintain an unweighted four-point with a full-IB courseload and such. But I’m pretty sure I’m going to get a B this semester in my math class, because 1) it’s really effing hard, 2) it’s pretty much an independent course the way the class was set up by our stupid administration (two levels of math are being taught in the same classroom), and 3) i’ve done no homework since, oh, october because of, to put it succintly, no time. So, I’m screwed.

I was deferred EA by Yale, and have applied to several other Ivies and Ivy-like schools. Is one B and the dreaded sound of a 4.0 cracking really going to sink my chances significantly?

No, not at all. It won’t make much of a difference if you have one B. I had one B, and I got into Yale. Don’t worry about it too much :)

hahahaha that’s awesome that you think a B will ruin your chances for anything. a girl at my school got six Bs in high school and got into harvard last year (urm, but still)

It might make you seem more human. ;)

if it hasn’t sunk in: one B won’t hurt you!

Watch your own words, dear. (I hope you see this. WHAT HAPPENED TO “I’M STUDYING BIO?”) mmmm hmmmm

you have no right to speak “ms. i got into yale and i’m worried about xyz”
