Is it possible for one to bribe his/her way into an Ivy League school or perhaps a Stanford or UC Berkeley along with an average academic record? If so, how much of an endowment would these schools require? Specifically a UC Berkeley. I’ve heard many stories but I don’t understand how one would go about offering such an endowment. Furthermore, I’ve heard that many Universities give priority to students who are willing to pay their full tuition at the beginning of the year. Is this true?

Most school nowadays are NEED BLIND in admissions for US students so being willing to pay in full won’t help you. And unless your parents are alumni who have donated enough to get a building named after them (although being alumni alone helps as well) don’t think that giving the Uni a gift will help you.
