Bringing up my math score

The first time I took the SATs I scored CR 800, Math 600, and WR 700. Now, I’m interested in bringing up my math score as much as possible (Writing too, if possible), but I’m worried that my CR score will plummet due to a different set of vocabulary.

If I did decide to re-test, what would be the best way to bring up my math score? I own a Princeton Review SAT book, but it just doesn’t seem to help. Math just isn’t my strong suit. Would a class be better?

No, self study. A class cannot diagnose your specific conceptual problems. You can. Why do you have a 600 in math? What mistakes did you make in your problems? How can you fix them?

try sparknotes.com
they have the test material broken done into subject matter with practice tests at the end so you can gauge where you need the most work

i think there might be a diagnostic also
its really important to take a diagnostic so you can focus on your trouble areas, b/c those areas are what prob brought you down
