I would never presume to predict how many years the marriage lasts, but I do share the sentiment that odds are not in favor of them making it. Their age is just one of many factors that make me sadly suspect they won’t make it.

Well, a turbulent marriage and life on their part can assure continuous income from those interested in this saga. They got a tidy sum in payment for this marriage announcement alone.

Interesting choice of music video that Levi has chosen to be in:

"CNN) – Fresh off his re-engagement to Bristol Palin, the Associated Press reports that Levi Johnston is set to appear in an R&B music video in which he will play a young man driven away from his love interest by the young woman’s mother.

Really?
Well, they did get the cover of US Magazine.
They sure find ways to stay in the news!
(in my view, playing this all out in public is not so great but they sought the limelight and so…)

to be cynical…maybe they thought Chelsea Clinton’s nuptials were getting too much press this weekend and so now Bristol and Levi are back in the news??

If Levi is the father of the ex-girlfriend’s baby, I bet she forced him to have unprotected sex. Whatca think?

Apparently, Bristol connected up with one of Levi’s groomsmen in the aborted first wedding last winter. I guess it gets cold in Alaska and ------

It is very sad. Having kids of a similar age and a little older (and having once been there myself back in the stone ages) I know how hard it is to negotiate through all this relationship stuff - and that is without doing it in the full glare of the public eye. Must be awful.

Unfortunately they got thrown into the public eye and have not yet developed the sense or maturity to try and get out of it and keep their private lives private. I imagine the temptation to profit from their notoriety must be huge and hard to resist.

My kids aren’t in the public eye and have, thankfully (so far) not had to grapple with unwanted pregnancies but they have certainly made mistakes in their lives. I can’t imagine young people who haven’t but there must be some based on the parents who are so comfortable in ridiculing and throwing stones. I was raised to believe that the ugly you do will come back to your kids in some fashion. So I am grateful every day that my kids don’t permanently mess up their lives. They’re all home right now and so far so good on this week that’s ending!
