British student looking for advice on universities

I have been offered soccer scholarships from various US colleges, including James Madison and Xavier. In England I have applied to Bath, Nottingham and Leeds, amongst others. I am a straight A student with all A’s predicted for A level, however my SAT score was only 1140 (cr and math) so this has let me down. I have no idea about how Xavier and James Madison compare to the English Universities I have applied to academically, I have heard that they are quite strong, but I don’t know in relative terms how strong they are. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

Also, how would going to one of these schools affect me wanting to do a post grad degree at an Ivy or equivalent?

Thanks

Bath and Nottingham are both much stronger in most areas, Leeds a little less so but still better.

Going to Xavior or James Madison and getting good grades along with good grad test scores (GMAT, LSAT, etc) will get you into pretty much any grad school. Xavior and JM will not hold you back from anywhere.

I think your biggest issue will be that these are not colleges with a national or international reputation. When you graduate and return to England or another EU country, no one will have heard of these school. This wouldn’t matter if you’re planning on grad school, but if you’re not this should be considered.
