<p>I’ve been reading up on the featured discussion about how helpful alumni networks have been for people. I assume Brown has a great alumni network, but does anybody know more about it? For instance is the network better in certain places whether its geographic or relative to a certain concentration/major?</p>
<p>My experience is that the network in film (in LA) is very good. Most of my initial contacts in screenwriting were via Brown alumni. My first agent and attorney were both Brown alumni. I found the agent through another Brown friend. </p>
<p>What we may lack in terms of numbers in some geographic regions we make up for in enthusiasm. I feel kinship with fellow alumni, because we all loved Brown.</p>
