I applied ED on Nov. 1. Am I the only one who still hasn’t heard anything about an interview yet?

if you didn’t apply for one of the special programs, yes. people who are applying for those programs get priority in each region. I’ve had friends who didnt get an interview until 2 weeks before decisions are released (and still get in)

I’m an international student and applied ED as well. Haven’t heard anything abt interview ? do international students get interviews as well??

Hey, I am an international student too! Three students at my school applied ED including me. Those two got the interview today! I am a bit worried but just wait for another week I guess…

I got an interview invitation! It was actually sent to me five days ago but went to my junk mail lol. Check your junk mail if you haven’t receive an interview:) Good luck!!

Hi. I’m a Brown hopeful as well but I missed the ED deadline because i ddin’t visit the school until after Nov.1. This ed discussion has me a bit apprehensive but besides that, my only concern for Brown is the lack of school spirit/social scene. Hope to see you guys there soon!!

@ThespianScholar school spirit and social scene is amazing at brown. one of the main reasons that I applied is because Brown students are on average much more happier than the other ivies because of a more collaborative than competitive environment

I applied ED and got in, but since according to them it doesn’t matter, you should be fine!! Good luck!

My daughter is applying RD - as much as I would love for her to go there, it would be easier if she doesn’t get in (which is a long shot anyway). She already got great merit aid from one school and is likely to get other good merit offers. We don’t qualify for any need-based aid, and full pay at Brown is a LOT of money.

@umassbound - Loyola Chicago - they have great merit aid. I’m sure she will get comparable offers from a couple of others - I mean, let’s face it - they aren’t Ivy league schools, but we don’t have a high enough or low enough income to make an Ivy a rational choice for our family (if she even gets in)

Hey everyone! I’m applying to Brown ED too! I have my alumni interview on Tuesday, and it is over the phone since there is no alumni in my area (I live in Arkansas). I am excited, and I wanted to say good luck to all of you!

dont worry, I know that some people get interviews up until the week before results.

interviews for brown are more for alumni engagement than admissions

Hi everyone, I’m wondering where does the ED decision for Brown come out usually? I know it’s mid-December, but is it closer to 13th/14th or 17th/18th? Do we get an email on the specific date and time of the result being released? (Cause some colleges do that)
Really want to know cuz I’m getting a little anxious on waiting the result hahaha… Any answer is appreciated. Thank you & Have a nice day!! :slight_smile:
