my interviewer told me they tell us on Dec 15 but I’m not sure if that’s completely true

Hi guys! has anyone been requested the quarter report from the counselors? The website has just changed that quarter report is required from ED applicants just now! It wasn’t there 2 weeks ago. But my counselor didn’t get any email and my portal didn’t say so before the checklist disappeared…

Does anyone know how much of a difference first quarter grades can make in your chances of admission? I had pretty good grades for the past three years (all A’s and 2 A- 's) but in the first quarter of this year, I had two B’s (AP calc BC and AP physics 1: the two hardest classes in my school) because I was involved in a fall sport. I took 6 AP classes this year and had A’s in the rest of them first quarter.
I don’t know if this would help, but a student who got in from my school last year told me that Brown reached out to his counselor and asked him to send the student’s first quarter grades.
If our counselor sends our grades now, a couple of days before decisions come out, could the admissions officers change their minds? I mean, I’m sure they’ve finalized most of their decisions by now, right? Sorry if I sound desperate… I’m just so anxious
They will see that you challenged yourself in your course load so be hopeful! Colleges look for kids who challenge themselves!!

I just talked to my counselor and I believe Brown sent an email to all of our counselors requesting quarter grades so we should be all good!
Hello fellow ED applicants. I just called the office of admissions, and they told me that they don’t require first quarter grades. The lady pulled up my application file and said that they don’t have my first quarter grades on file and that my application was still complete without them. She also said that Brown does not reach out to high school counselors to request first quarter grades. We are responsible for having our counselors send them (which is apparently optional).
I told her about the Application Checklist and asked her to clarify her statement on not requiring first quarter grades. She asked me if my counselor sent them. I said “no.” Then she said, “then have her send them.” Now, I’m just so confused. I’m pretty sure I didn’t get in just by the way she was talking to me lol RIP. Hope this helps.

I think that if they ask for it then you have to send it, im not sure if they always ask for it. Plus the deadline for that is February 2nd I believe. you should be fine.
Does anyone know the exact day or a prediction of when decisions are going to come out? I am very anxious. Not all ivies are releasing decisions on a Thursday this year, I heard Yale and UPenn are releasing theirs on Monday the 16th.
In the past years Brown has been releasing decisions on Thursday or Wednesday before the 15th, so I feel like this year it should also be this coming Wednesday or Thursday.
