Has anyone heard what day (beyond mid December) Brown will be releasing its early decisions?

Last year was Friday, December 13th at 3:00 pm. I would assume that this year it would be Friday, December 12th at 3:00 pm, as it has been on that day for the past few years.

I haven’t received an idoc request at all (international student) :frowning: how bad of a sign is this?

I’ve heard of people getting rejected with one and others getting accepted with one. I’m sure you’re still okay!!

Applicants in a semester system school, do you guys also have First Term Grades/Senior Progress as “Waived“ or is it still “Awaiting“?

Yes, I did. It has more items listed on the FA section now.

Yes, more documents are added from my idoc submissions.

Its “Awaiting” . However, it said that no need to worry or no need to contact them. We will send it out when they are available.

My counselor submitted my first term grades early nov, and it’s showed up as awaiting for a bit but I didn’t message the admissions office asking because they said it could take a week or more to show up. And now I just messaged them, and they said my counselor submitted an optional grade report without grades and for my counselor to submit my grades asap. I just messaged my counselor, am I cooked, this feels too close to when decisions come out

It’s ok!! My school doesn’t even release our first trimester grades till Dec 9th. Clearly this situation was out of your control. They look at applicants without senior grades all the time. This wouldn’t be the reason you don’t get in/get in. Good luck!!

When do you think we will hear about descions? Last year applicants received an email on the 5th letting them know when they’ll release it—I haven’t received anything yet. My guess would be Dec 12th, but since no email yet could be the following week.

So are we thinking that since an email announcing the date didn’t go out, the ED release date may be next week?

I heard that one year Brown did not email applicants until 4 days before decision release. If an email is not sent by at latest Tuesday, I think it’s safe to assume it’ll be the following week.

I just received the decision date email from Brown. Here is the word for word what they said:
“Admission decisions for Early Decision applicants to the Class of 2030 will be available online beginning Monday, December 15, at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.​”
