<p>so i was emailed by a brown interviewer…but the email said “i am a possible candidate for admission” for a second this made me special, but i was wondering does this apply to everyone who applied to brown or just a handful of people?</p>
<p>i just got called for an interview as well. technically everyone who applies is a possible candidate for admission so i would say no</p>

<p>desi: you are a “possible candidate for admission.” As are the other 30,000 who applied. It’s just the phrase this interviewer used for “applicant.”</p>
<p>Other than recruits who got likely letters, alumni don’t know anything about your file.</p>
