Many years ago, we had a purple (eggplant) sbow in Colorado. Apparently related to a dust storm hundred of miles away. Some kind of dust…

This is pretty horrifying.

‘Although it is non-toxic it should not be touched or otherwise put in contact with skin,’ the town said in a statement.

the town urged residents to avoid contact with the colored snow, not to let pets out or near it and have notified neighboring school districts not to let children play with the ‘brown snow.’

Yup, and the heavy rain will get this stuff into the soil and waters (ocean, rivers/lakes).

Yup–and keep animals away from it–not easy to do as there are some wild animals. I guess at least protect your pets from it?
