Brown Supplement 2011-2012!

<p>It will be very interesting to see what the application numbers are for the RD pool. The supplement certainly did not dissuade the ED applicants,(as the numbers are up) but those are the students who would be applying “no matter what”. If the number of applicants goes down for RD, (as students who are just adding numbers of schools may decide all that writing isn’t worth it) that might make the ad coms job a bit easier. It also might make it likely that a larger number of ED students will be deferred (instead of rejected) if the admissions office is anticipating a smaller pool of RD aps. Also, if you are a ED app who is deferred, it might make admission a bit more likely, if we are just speculating on statistical probability. Time will tell!</p>
