Brown Supplement, don't know what to study?

I’m applying to Brown and RISD so obviously, I’m also applying to the Dual Degree program. One of my passions in art but I’m also extremely interested in studying psychology and art history. But I’m not sure if I want to become a psychologist. Honestly, I don’t know what I want my future career to be. Is it okay to address this in the response questions? I know what my academic interests are but not my career ones. Brown has a really open curriculum so I would be able to discover what it is I want to study/become. OR would Brown prefer if I have a strong grasp on what it is I want to become/study???

Don’t worry at all. Most of my friends at Brown have no IDEA what they want to do, and many of them are even confused on what to concentrate in. You don’t need to address career/study plans that much in your essays - what they want to see is that you’re eager to study!

Thanks. Yeah, it’s mostly in the Brown/RISD Dual Degree supplement essay where they ask you to address it. The short response questions ask me about what I want to study/why I chose the specific fields of concentration. I couldn’t really give that deep of a response.
