I’ve checked three times on my laptop and still no periods
I believe I had the three periods after the checkmark on my portal a while ago, but I do not have them anymore. I would be surprised if the periods were an indication of anything but decisions being made soon.
Was there ever a case in previous rounds or other colleges when small inconsistencies in the portal meant an acceptance, waitlist status, or rejection before the decisions were released?
I am sure it means absolutely nothing. We’re all anxious and speculating and I 100% caused that anxiety and apologize ? I know we’re all on edge rn. Just hang in there!!
new to the thread but i just wanted to mention that the dots appear and disappear for me when i change the sizing of my window
Now that you mention it, I have the dots when I’m on desktop, and no dots on mobile. We’re definitely going crazy waiting for results ?
For every school i applied to with a similar portal system i now have a period next to the check mark too. I think it just could mean that theyve opened the document or something
it’s awfully quiet in our portals…too quiet…
do we think that this friday would be too generous? i know we haven’t gotten the email yet, but friday is may 1st, so technically early may…
I don’t think we’ll hear from them this week. I was on credit today and I found Cornell gave out some of their results last night at 7:50.
@DonShanko What does Cornell have to do with Brown?
Last year Brown’s transfer checklist disappeared around a few days before the decision comes out (Apr 26 email notify me Apr 29 checklist will disappear, and then May 2 decision out). So I think the decision might be next week… Like next Thursday or Friday.
@sumnam1 they are both ivies
But Cornell has rolling admissions.
@kcasssuu Yes! But, there was no email or checklist disappearance in 2018. I think it’s useless for us to try to predict based on these tiny changes that are consistent year to year. All we know is that we will hear by May 15th. Could be this Friday, or next week! Best of luck everyone.
**inconsistent
the portal changed!!! the place where you submit supplemental materials is gone
@dearapril I agree - not sure when it disappeared but there is no way to upload anything from the Brown app portal
It definitely disappeared recently. I saw it at around 1 and now I don’t. Hope decisions are coming soon!
Is anyone else concerned about our inability, as transfers, to defer admission? It seems like the school intends to reopen for fall, and first years are able to defer admission but transfers are not.
