<p>So no, to that part of the question. However, there are plenty of outside scholarship opportunities for minorities (and everyone), as well a need-based financial aid.</p>

<p>I have never heard Brown mentioned as one of the top CS schools, and I tend to think of it as having more of a humanities flair, but that does not mean the program is bad, by any means. I have no idea whether it’s pretty good or not. I agree that the Brown forum might be a good place to ask.</p>
