Thanks for the info! It helps to know the time frame in order to estimate what to expect and when.

My son’s letter came today. Same one as noted above. Thankfully, the school he will be attending has been growing on him.

Got the letter today -the contradicting statements do seem odd. Oh well, I’d already decided that I’m not willing to leave CA anyways. :)

Have there been any new acceptances? Or are there only rejections coming out?

@BigFudge According to the letter, no one was accepted. However, based on others’ claims of acceptances, it seems they already took everyone they wanted.

Today, my child officially declined the Brown offer of admission off the waitlist (see my earlier posts from last week). Hopefully this means one of you who still want to go there will get the call! Best of luck to all of you in your future endeavors…

I guess I haven’t been rejected yet if I was supposed to be rejected today, so there’s a glimmer of hope. But then again, I live in Canada so I have no idea when my rejection letter is supposed to come.

Any news from anyone?

Hey guys,
I’m a Korean male and was accepted off the wait list on the first of June.
I did not receive a phone call, but I did receive an internationally mailed package.
It contained the letter of congratulations and the detailed process which I needed to follow in order to enroll.
I’ve decided to accept, and I’m ecstatic to be attending Brown for the next four years
If you have any questions, please either PM me or post them under mine.

Hey 2390CloseEnough, you mean that the package was received on the first or the letter was dated as the first? Congrats by the way!

@2390CloseEnough
You have decided to accept, and still wait for Harvard’s decision? Then, you have not decided.

Before I clarify things, I just wanted to apologize for the late replies… I was away from home and my phone.

@Lanney I pulled out my application from Harvard as soon as I sent the reply to Brown.
@ponbear7 The package was received on the first in Korea, so I am guessing the package was sent about three days before that date.

@2390CloseEnough was the package sent via Fedex or regular mail?

@delinquente
I believe it was through FedEx Priority international mailing.
