<p>Seeing how CC posters don’t handle your application, perhaps a call to the Brown admissions office or computer science department would be more helpful.</p>
<p>I plan on applying to Brown for computer science as well, and Brown makes everyone apply to the college itself, so the major does not play much of a role if any. You have the same chance at getting in Brown for just about any major, although the application for computer science/engineering/math has an extra part on the application factored in for Brown.</p>
