<p>Okay, so someone that I know recently told me that for the card’s identification photo, you need to show both your ears and your forehead.</p>
<p>Is this true?</p>
<p>In my case, my hairs cover my ears and my forehead, but still my eyes and the rest of the face are visible and can be identified. In fact, if I show my ears and lift my fronthair to show my ears and my forehead, it would probably fall under the “no funny poses” category for the BruinCard.</p>
<p>I never heard or read that. As long as your face shows, you have a white background, and you don’t have a hat, sunglasses, or other “props” with you, there’s no problem.</p>
<p>You’ll be fine, I think. I am not sure about having to show your ears, but I am more than 50% sure that you will need to uncover them.</p>
<p>On another note, I am positive that a rule is that your eyes must be clearly showing. If you are wearing glasses, the student must be positioned such that his/her eyes are not covered or contain reflections from the glasses. As you might know, the eyes are very important visuals in identification process.</p>
<p>yeah take the photo at orientation. the line is NOT AS LONG as everyone says it is. I had to send in my photo twice because my 1st one was too sexy and provocative.</p>
<p>the eye thing might be true because the first photo I sent in this year was rejected; I smiled a little too big and my eyes looked a little too small. I sent in a second photo today and if that gets rejected, I’m just going to wait until orientation.</p>
<p>Thanks guys, but what if I’m planning on not going to the orientation? Then is it a must to send in a photo? Or, can I take an identification photo with me later or take one at the BruinCard office?</p>
