This is the official discussion thread for Bryn Mawr Class of 2029 RD applicants. Ask your questions and connect with fellow applicants.
When are people expecting Bryn Mawr’s RD decisions?
Last year it was on March 20.
Anxiously awaiting this decision! It is the very last one on my D25’s list. Finally almost done with this process!
So so nervous for decisions! Bryn Mawr’s my number one school.
Any ideas for which day next week they’ll release decisions? I’m hoping for Monday but based on past years it could be as far out as Thursday or Friday. Oh boy
Any ideas on when decisions will come out? I’m thinking tomorrow at 4pm eastern, since their CSS profile “award letter” date is listed as 3/24. From stalking recent years’ threads, it seems that they send out notification emails with the release time only on the morning of.
Decisions confirmed for today at 4pm EDT!!
Good luck! I don’t know if they do this anymore but my oldest, who just graduated from Bryn Mawr this May, got a call from admissions on the ED date just before the decision was in the portal. She was in a meeting and didn’t answer! They used to call students personally which I thought was so sweet. So if you get a call from an unknown number soon, pick it up! Anassa Kata to all!
CMIIW but I think they only do this for ED rounds? I’ve only read of that happening in ED threads.
Ah could be. Just thought I’d throw it out there just in case!
rejected
edit: oops didn’t mean to reply specifically to you
Ugggh I was rooting for you. Still Onwards
Aww thank you! I still got into good schools and I’m finally done with admissions, so I’m happier than I thought I’d be.
Where are you leaning at this point? I think my D25 has a lot of overlap with your schools, If I remember correctly.
If Mount Holyoke comes through with more aid and there’s nothing alarming when I visit, I’m committing in a heartbeat. Otherwise, I’m St. Olaf bound!
Did anyone get any merit??? I was admitted with no merit, and I was kinda surprised. Stats are above BMC’s averages and I have gotten large (25k+ per year) offers at comparable and higher-ranked schools, as well as STRIDE at Smith
My daughter received a $30k/year Presidential Scholarship. It was in her admissions letter. Congrats on your acceptance!
My C21 is graduating this spring and has had a wonderful experience. Please lmk if you’d like yo connect with them or hear from me
