I know this was already said, but I just emailed the admissions committee and they said that decisions will be released in early June! So I’m thinking it’ll be out next week! Fingers crossed!

Anyone heard anything yet? I am an international asking for substantial aid, so that keeps me worried. I got rejected from all the other places due to financial aid; BMC is my top and literally my only choice now. I don’t know what’s going to happen otherwise.
@florencewelch666 I haven’t anything either- which is weird cause admissions said that they would come out with results in early June, but early June has passed.
@florencewelch666 , first up,I’m assuming ur a fan of Florence and the machine. I’m like their hugest fan. Anyway, again, much like you I’m an international student and was also basically rejected from every school I applied to because of my substantial financial need. The ones I got into where way too expensive. Bryn Mawr might be my very last hope.
If Bryn Mawr doesn’t come out with anything by June 15, I’ll email them

@theartofg yesterday I emailed them and they said that they’ll reevaluate the waitlist over the next month. That was their exact words. Verbatim. I don’t know if the term next month entails June or July. I guess the pandemic messed with the reply schedule of the admitted students, hence the delay.
There is no "reply schedule ". They admit students as they have space, so if someone who was headed to BMC gets off a WL at another school and chooses to go, BMC will go to the WL to fill that one spot.
There could be a lot of movement or almost none. But at some point, everything will stop because enrollment for the fall will be done. At that point, they usually inform everyone that the WL is closed. It is possible that covid will delay that.
ugghhhhh that’s so annoying! I emailed them back in May and they said “Decisions for wait list applicants will be available in early June” in those exact words!! Oh well, guess we’ll still have to wait
@theartofg , if you haven’t heard, that means the WL is still active, so that’s good news for you. The last “mass mailing” is the “we have closed the WL.”. Realistically, at this point, it’s best to be enthusiastic about wherever you have deposited, but you still have a chance. The silver lining in your annoyance cloud.
@gardenstategal that’s true. I’m happy at the place where I placed a deposit (Mount Holyoke) but I’m still hoping for a chance!

Do you know if it’s early July, or did they they just say July? I don’t want to spend too much money on the school I deposited at because I can only get so many refunds for camps and other activities. 
I’m really hoping to get off the waitlist, but I’m not too confident since decisions keep getting pushed back.

Maybe it’ll be early July, but I doubt it. I tried sending my admissions counselor an email about when decisions would come out, but she hasn’t got back to me

Yeah. It’s very annoying to get no updates. Being an international student requiring heavy aid, more specifically in the time of uncertainty, is very painful.
