Hi,
I’m a current 9th grader at an NYC specialized HS (within top 40 public HS in US). I’m doing well there and I think it’s a decent school and I’m doing well so far, but the commute is a little tough for me and I really enjoyed the Hotchkiss summer program I did. I was thinking about applying to a few top BS schools such as: Choate, Hotchkiss, PEA, and Andover. I have some friends at these schools already, but lmk if there are any other schools I should be thinking about. I took the ISEE last year (scoring above 90th percentile in each section), so I think I can do alright on the SSAT. In 7th and 8th grade I got all As. (Also my parents aren’t so interested in me going to BS because they think my current HS is good enough, so I might apply next year).
