BS in Finance VS. MS in Finance

What are the job prospects with a Bachelors in Finance, compared to a Masters in Finance or an MBA?

I’m doing a career change, and I’m trying to learn as much as I can about my interest area: Finance. Any help and advice will be much appreciated. I have a lot of questions…

BA is usually entry level position and MS/MBA gives you access to associate positions and up.

Finance is such a wide field. If you can list some job descriptions as to what you want to do, its easier to answer and give you advice.

MS programs do not give you access to associate positions, just analyst positions. MBA programs however do.

that is only true for banking. If he does corporate/private, he can start at a higher level than analyst with a MS

MSF will place you as an analyst if you have no experience. If you are aiming for F500 roles, you can use it as an MBA. If you have some work experience (2-3 years), you can get associate level positions with an MSF.
