BS in Interactive Development

My son is currently a sophomore at our cc and plans to transfer to RIT next fall 2020 to pursue a BS degree in Interactive Development. My husband thinks its a limiting degree with less outlook for a good paying job down the road… Me thinks otherwise considering the way technology has gotten more and more advanced every year. That being said, if he gets accepted for transfer to RIT, his ability to go there will depend on its affordability. I want to know if anyone has or is currently in this program and give me a birds eye view about the program either at RIT or from another school. Our back up plan is to pursue a similar program online. We are still researching the best online program though. Since he is tied up with the NYS Excelsior Scholarship, out of state schools is out of the picture. Any thoughts about this program and job outlook?
