***BS/MD Interview Notification for Class of 2013***

after a hectic schedule this past year monitoring the application process, life is so boring now that we accepted our top choice :frowning:
Need something to keep myself busy! apart from my regular work

@fallpsat, obviously you are very good at guiding your D (?or S). What about be a counselor and help juniors like me in achieving our dream?

yes, people have started coming to my house in the weekends with just a sudden phone call “we are on our way. can we come and talk to you and seek guidance?”. Glad to help. 4 families did this in the last 2 weekends!

@fallpast… I have followed your posts for a while now and am very impressed with your success! Am sure it took a lot of dedication & hardwork on your child’s part and yours. Kudos!!

I am on my way to your house right now! :-)

Anyone accepting SHAPE at UT? I heard the deadline is today.

Got into plme!!!

Hamilton - Congrats - What are your stats?

GPA: 4.0 UW
SAT: 2250 (CR: 710; M: 800; W: 740)
SAT II: Math 2/Chem: 800

Believe that my teacher recs and essays were critical to getting in. Good luck to everyone!!!

@Hamiltonlover Wow! Congratulations! Can you help younger students like me? Did you do science research? How many AP’s did you take throughout high school? Were you in any sports or clubs? If so, how many? Can you please post your other activities because you are a very successful person!

Anyone going to the Villanova program? Gonna need a roommate

FINALLY done with all of my interviews… Stony Broon was very nice, and I actually met Shoumik95 there. They sent 40 folders to the med school, interviewed 25, and will accept about half by next week.

@Hamiltonlover- I didn’t congratulate you earlier because, to be honest, I’m jealous. Brown PLME was my dream since 9th grade. I was rejected though. Congratulations. You deserve it, obviously.

This basically puts an end to this hell of a year. Congrats everyone who got in and those who didn’t, you’re probably going to somewhere better.

Villanova 2016, Drexel College of Medicine 2020

@hamiltonlover Congratulations on PLME!

I also got into PLME today! So excited!

@sjshah Congratulations on Villanova/Drexel!

Good luck to everybody! It has been a very long road for all of us.

Accepted to PLME! Sweet!

Anybody going to Drexel/Drexel?
I’m gonna need a roommate as well (male, honors college)

Sent from my SCH-I535 using CC

Hi guys, I’ve made an official Facebook group for all of us who are definitely going to Drexel Med in 2016. It’s for the 3+4 BS/MD students who got accepted into the program with Lehigh/Villanova/Drexel/Rosemont this year. I think it’d be really nice for us to get to know each other (since Villanova and Rosemont are right next to each other, and Lehigh is not too far either) and form a tight bond even before entering med school. If you’re officially going to one of these programs, feel free to PM me and I’ll send you the link to the group :)

@bustlingwu- congrats to you too! like the admissions site said, they are doing interviews for those that they consider to be within “driving distance” on weekday afternoons. If you can make the ride, it should be fine (so long as you don’t blatantly talk about another prog interview/visit as your reason). I’d say that if they chose you for that top 25-30, they want to interview you (:

@TheBombingRange what was the format of the Stony Brook interview? and congrats again!

My S got into Yale and John Hopkins (Biomedical Eng) today. HPME is still on the top of his list.

Did anyone else interview for Cincinnati DAP?
