<p>Hi. I’m a Class of 2014 senior and am very much interested in the Texas BS/MD programs and just came to know that UT SHAPE is not accepting applications for 2014 Fall college freshman. That unfortunately narrows down my list, has anyone else got any experience with UTSA FAME? How good of a program is that in comparison to UT PACT and UT Health Science Honors and Texas Tech USMI? What are its pros and cons? How is its feeding med school–San Antonio School of Medicine–in comparison to other Texas Med Schools? All in all, how is the program as a whole?</p>

<p>They have a new “Degree In Three” Program that lets you finish UG in three years…probably still not as great as SHAPE seemed to have been. really really unfortunate for us seniors of 2014.</p>

Thank you for a very detailed posting on UTD vs UTA. Having seen UTD for some time now, so you have any feedback on how UTD is helping your goal towards med program. <p>@tropixx, i think they were referring to those accepted to the programs from the HS class of 2013. And yeah…it’d be great to get some advise from anyone on these. Especially the interviews, since they’re beginning right about now.</p>
