@CAJ2014, every program is different and could notify in a few days or weeks, but most likely before April 1st.

On a side note, I really hope that too many HPME interviewees don’t get waitlisted at NU again haha

My son got accepted into RPI/AMC. How would you compare this program with SBU/GW and Hofstra BS/MD programs?

@midhelper. Son interviewed on 2/17 for RPI/AMC. Good to know that your daughter is happyat RPI.

I got into Union/AMC too.
@dumich @desie1 @Midhelper
we should create a facebook group for those admitted to union/rpi/amc

have people gotten RPI acceptances?? did anyone get “still under consideration” or reject or anything ?? from RPI

Some have I think. This person said he got into rpi.

Anyone who already had their RPI/AMC interview, how was it? Was it an MMI or just 1 or 2 interviews with professors.

@student2349 congratulations! Did you also interview for RPI? I am just wondering if you get to choose which one to go to or did they choose for you? Was it just the one interview? It was like that a few years ago. My S has his interview next week - hope there are still some spots left.

@midhelper. Where do find the status (UC -under consideration) of RPI/AMC interview. I couldn’t see any thing in AMC link and we haven’t got any mail on status after interview.

Congratulations nexus55. when did you hear about the acceptance…

I interviewed for both and during the interview I said I leaned towards union. I was accepted into union only and yes only one interview.

@ student2349, is there only 1 interview at AMC or 2?

If you do union/amc - one interview at amc one at union (union does not matter imo)
If you do rpi/amc - one at amc

@happy321 the only way to know is when they send you an email. If you don’t hear anything within 4-5 weeks I would call.

I called HPME this morning and they said they are still in the process of reviewing applications up to this week, so we should all be notified by the end of the week.

@asapaj5- my interview was about 40 minutes, but my interviewer was in a rush to get to another meeting. Most people’s interviews were an hour. I don’t think it reall matters though! I think, as much as anything else, it’s quality over quantity!
@midhelper- Congrats to your D on AMC!!!
@CAK2014-Most come out at the end of March. There are a few that stagger results (AMC for example-- I only have an interview at the end of the month whereas some have already been accepted), some are very early (like Jefferson, which should come out within the next week), but most are at the end of the month.

From what I understood by asking questions during NU presentations is that they don’t want to waste an admission slot on a HPME interviewed and rejected candidate if they feel the candidate’s primary interest in NU is for HPME only. Interest plays a big factor in the admission process. So I would suggest to anyone who is interviewing to write a note to their admission counselor that their consideration of attending NU is not limited to HPME only and they will still choose to come however the result turns out. What they have said in the past is that the waitlisted candidates are admitted if they accept the waitlist but lately, NU has not been going to the waitlists.

Has anyone who interviewed at AMC on Feb. 10th heard back about acceptances for RPI or Union? Still waiting ot hear back from RPI.

Can someone give me more information on RPI/AMC program?
Is it worth it? Is it challenging? Positives? Negatives?

Did anyone hear from HPME today?
