what kind of classes did you take at your school? AP? honors? Your ACT score is very good, but even with your two jobs your gpa is low, however if you have a strong rigor that should make up for it.

I would say you’re in if you visited campus, participated in one club or so and did a little community service and said how much you want to go there. you should at least get into CGS. be sure to mention how much time work takes up.

the gpa seems low but obviously you’re smart because of those sat/acts and you seem very dedicated.

even though bu is your dream school, you have to realize how expensive it is… and bu isn’t exactly generous with grants/scholarships… that’s one thing that almost turns me off to bu. if money’s tight then it may not be a good first choice. although i definitely recommend applying you have a great chance! :)
