BU Engineering Scholar v/s Georgia Tech

Hey guys,

I need a bit of help in deciding my college. I applied for BU’s Trustee scholarship, but I only got the engineering scholarship, which is half tuition (around 20k off/year). So the total cost for me would be $40k.

On the other hand, I got into Georgia Tech without any aid or scholarship. Im an international citizen, so the total cost comes to the out of state tuition of 39,100 dollars, which is the same price as BU with scholarship.

Im still undecided, but I definitely will be doing something in engineering. Im really inclined to computer science.

I know GA Tech’s CS program is better. However, I wanted to know how helpful being an engineering scholar in BU is in the job world.

Thanks!

bump…

Employers generally will not care about your merit scholarship because that was earned as a high school student. What will be important to them is what you have done as a college student.
