BU Official Transfer Thread 2010

Hey guys!

Thought we could start one of these - I know we have one on the BU board, but maybe this will attract more people.

I got in today to CAS as an Economics major. :)

Very early indeed, was incredibly surprised by the e-mail.

Hope others hear soon!

congrats im going to BU as well as an econ major but first year though :P

Wow, congrats womanofmanyhats!! That's very awesomely early =D Did you apply really early?

I applied to CAS Biology, with an Ecology and Conservation concentration.

So are you def attending or applied to some other schools?

I visited the school with high hopes, but our tour guide was as dumb as a box of rocks.

"This building is architected really well"
"We have study abroad on every continent, people go up to Antarctica all the time"

Needless to say, we left the tour early.

No, I actually applied late. I have no idea how they are letting people know. I just think CAS is the largest amount of people, so it might be the one they try and get done first and then do the specialized schools. My friend applied earlier than me for the Sargent school and hasn't found out yet. But yes, I went to college to find myself, and once I did, I found I was in the wrong place. So, BU, here I come! And as far as I know, transfers are getting housing! So yay!

Sorry to hear that. It is a great school. But, it depends on what you are looking for. I hated it when I visited senior yr of HS. When I went back this year, applying as a Junior transfer, I loved it. I just wanted different things back then.

What's wrong with BU Grant.

They offered so little only 30 percent of total tution fee.

Due to their finance matter damn..this year they don't offer any BU GRant
