BU Teaching Fellow Positions

I’ve been looking into getting a TF position in one of my favorite classes next year. I’m wondering what kind of compensation is involved. It didn’t occur to me that I would be getting paid for doing it until the head of the lab I want to TF told me the position was one of the most well paid. I’m sure they all vary depending, but what is the ballpark?

it depends. as you know some TF’s don’t get paid but in sargent, for anatomy, i think they get paid somewhere between 500-1000 a month. but you have to go to lectures as well.

what school are you in?

sargent, why do u ask?

oh I meant DJ…because the teaching fellow programs are all different.

Yeah I am in Sargent, and the TF position I’m talking about is actually the gross human anatomy lab. I picked up my application today : )
