<p>I am aware that the two schools are obviously very different (urban v suburban, large v medium, etc.), but I would really appreciate an opinion from someone who is familar with both of the schools.</p>

<p>BC has a superior academic environment… You can get as good if not better education at UMass amherst at a much lesser cost than BU (one of the most expensive schools)</p>
<p>BC has a real campus in a beautiful Boston suburb and has the well respected Jesuit approach to education. BU is an urban campus located on busy Commonwealth Avenue in Boston. OK looking buildings but not architecurally beautiful like BC.</p>
