Hi all,
I was (sadly) waitlisted at Bucknell and Colgate, any ideas on how high my chances of eventually being accepted are?
GPA: 4.82/5 weighted
SAT: 1390/2150
ACT: 32
extracurriculars are good and my essays were strong.

Why do you think you were waitlisted? Your SAT score is in the top 25% for those admitted to Bucknell and very close to that level at Colgate. I am surprised you were not accepted to both. If I were you, I would pick one of them as your favorite and contact them to let them know that you REALLY want to attend there.
I visited Bucknell, didn’t visit Colgate (probably should have) but Colgate also doesn’t track demonstrated interest so I don’t think that factored in! Thank you for the advice, I’ll email them asap!
