<p>I’m new to this board. I’d like to know if anyone knows anything about how successful Bucknell University grads are at getting into medical school. Thanks for any responses. I know grades and MCAT scores are the most important piece, but the UG school is pretty important, too—right?</p>
<p>It’s mostly the GPA and MCAT, then the proper timing of the application, letters of rec., volunteer record, and patient contact and shadowing of drs. The actual undergrad college is not that important except for the very top schools like Harvard. You have to have the whole package for the application and timing is critical. Getting the complete application turned in during the summer (not fall) of the application season is most important.</p>
