<p>So a while a back, one of my friends told me that Bucknell has a very conservative leaning, and that it tends to be fairly preppy as well. Do any of you know how true this is? I want a liberal arts experience, but I’m not sure that is the atmosphere for me.</p>
<p>Bucknell is preppy and a little more conservative than similar liberal arts schools - but unfortunately the only way to understand that statement is visit them yourself and spend a day there especially time in the dining halls where many kids will cross paths.</p>
<p>Everyone has a different and personal definition of liberal arts.</p>
<p>Lastly - consider do you want to be part of the main stream in college or stand out and how much effort will it take to stand out?</p>
