Budhecha

How’s Parag Budhecha? She’s teaching “Representing Indian-American Culture”

My other option is “Authenticity and Artifice” by Kristiin Solli. Any comments on her course? And if I find Solli’s course more interesting, should i take the only timing available: 8:45 - 9:35 am, which destroys my attempt at no classes b4 10 am?

I heard bad stuff about Budhecha from ratemyprofessors.com . I switched to Indo-British encounters.

I had Budhecha last fall for “writing the academy”

She is a very nice person but does grade pretty hard and expects a lot from her students. I had to quite a bit more than most people I know. In addition to that, a large portion of the work is crammed into the end of the course (I had a 45minute presentation and a 10page paper due on the same day). Nobody in my class liked the class because of the topic, but she taught it well.

Yea, I don’t know if they are continuing that Writing 20 subject this year, but last year, “Writing the Academy” was kinda known as the ultra-boring writing 20 that was kinda a last resort.
