I’m attending Bulldog Days on Monday, but I left my ID at home when I started travelling. Do they check ID to sign in, or can I stop worrying?
No, they don’t check ID’s, so you can stop worrying now!
No, they won’t check it at school but how are you travelling without ID? Be careful.
I am hearing it is raining pretty hard there now? My D visited privately a couple of weeks ago and she has had a beautiful weather. Just to let you know that it does not always rain in New Haven
We had flooding here in NJ, and my wife ran Boston in “the worst weather ever” today. The weather around here is not always crummy, but this year has been a challenge. That said, my son somehow made it with nothing but sneakers for his feet this winter. It’s a good thing some kids are oblivious
My daughter loves umbrellas and galoshes. I am certain she will be losing quite a few of the first pretty soon …
@IxnayBob - baby your wife tonight
My D said the weather was terrible yesterday and it is foggy at 54 degrees today. Might rain. New Haven under these conditions is challenging but no one goes to Yale for the weather. I hope it does not deter anyone from wanting to attend and picking a school in a warmer, sunnier clime.
I’m there now and it’s great even with the crappy weather!
Yesterday’s weather was lousy, but thankfully today was nice. I am so impressed with everything planned for BDD. I can’t wait for the ride home tomorrow so I can hear all about what my son has been doing.
BDD2015 was certainly a success. My D, currently flying home, FELL in LOVE with YALE. ( She’s been torn between H, S and Y) She’s from CA and never mentioned the weather once. What she did mention was all of the ways YALE is the place for her. Just stopping by to say…those Bulldogs stole her heart
Kudos to you @Suemomsie for raising such a discerning D :). Welcome to the family.
Wonder how many made up mind after BDD2015? Son did!
BTW, he thinks Ezra Stiles has the best food!
I pushed the YES button and committed to Yale tonight, @YaleDad2019. BDD2015 was great!
Bulldog days were awesome! Even as a parent, I was so glad I went. It’s exciting to see kids who were on the fence now choosing Yale! For future parents, if possible, go! There were 900 parents there, so you will not feel weird or in the way. There was plenty to do and we only saw our son to take him shopping for Yale gear!
Looked like it was a success despite the first day of poor weather…http://yaledailynews.com/blog/2015/04/23/bulldog-days-draws-thousands/
