Is anyone else here going to Bulldog days a day earlier? I’m gonna be there a day earlier since I’m not too excited about taking the red-eye flight if I don’t. Anyone? I’ll be at the Colony New Haven…

I’m going a day early and I’ll be staying at the colony too :). Maybe we’ll see each other.

well… that’d only work if we know what each other looks like. haha

We could wear name tags…

Nerds :|

Haha…I’m also flying in on Sunday - we’re staying at the Courtyard, though. I guess I’ll just have to wait 'til Tuesday to see you. ;)

(Haha, I’m very excited about staying close to the Yale Bookstore…)

I’m also flying on Sunday… staying on campus… Any chance of seeing you at Woolsey that night? (there’s a concert, I think Prokofiev/Brahms)

I’LL BE THERE ON SUNDAY!

…wait, i live there…

really? theres a Prokofiev/Brahms concert? Who is playing… and what are they playing? If its anything with a piano… I’m there!

oh yeah, where do I get tickets?

how were you guys able to arrange to come on sunday instead of monday? was there someone to contact?

it’s open to general public and free, so I guess you do not need the tickets. actually, I messed that up -it’s not at Woolsey, but Sprague Memorial Hall (Morse Recital Hall) - part of the Faculty Artists Series. so I guess faculty members will be playing:

Clive Greensmith, cello, Boris Berman, piano

Brahms: Sonatas No. 1 in E minor and No. 2 in F major;
Prokofiev: Cello Sonata

Admission is free.

meet you there?;)

any1 dying for Prokofiev/Brahms with me?:)

I’m a HUGE Brahms fan… i love his piano concertos… but I guess I could deal with this. what time is it at? I arrive in New Haven at like 7-8pm… on sunday.

Stan: Im just staying at the Colony New Haven hotel…

It’s at 8pm I think(have to check) :))) (ps I’m his HUGE fan as well…and his sonatas are wonderful)

elberet - do you want to meet up for the concert?.. now the real trouble is figuring out how to meet up…

uhhh. don’t know. could be cool. I mean, we’re going to be in the same '09 class:) so why not get to know each other on a BRAHMS CONCERT??? well, as to figuring out…that IS trouble…hm. we could meet at the main entrance at 8pm, given that you will be there by then and also that we know how each of us looks…

I am DEFINITELY attending the concert - told my mom she had no choice but to go with me (if she didn’t like it, I implied, she could spend her time elsewhere and by herself). ;)

I’ll be arriving in New Haven around 1:00 PM, so timing isn’t an issue.

EDIT: Listening to a Chopin sonata right now…wouldn’t mind hearing that in Woolsey…aaaahhhhhh :D

ahhhhhh…me either:)

see you at the concert?;)

Hmmm…it seems the concert is at the same time as the panels on residential life. Oh well, I’ll probably go to the concert anyway. :)
