bunch of questions regarding application

1) Should I include AP Exams that I am self-studying this year? I have only taken one AP class / exam (US History) with a 4, and are not taking any this year. I’m planning on self-studying for Psychology, Enviro. Science, possibly Human Geography, possibly English Language, and possibly Studio Art. How do I mention this in my application / ECs?

2) Some of the schools I’m applying to (mostly Uni of Cincinnati) have an early admission date. I am retaking the SATs in October, and although my scores are probably good enough to get in at the moment, I’d still rather have my new scores be taken into consideration. Should I still apply ASAP and then send scores later, or should I wait awhile?

I’ll probably be adding more as I think of them, thanks!

still seeking an answer, thanks!

I can’t answer 1 because I never self-studied, but I would say you should put it on. Can’t hurt you.

2) By early admissions do you mean rolling admissions? Or early action? (if it’s ED apply if you’re set on going there) Either way, I think you should just apply now. If you don’t get in, you have a high chance of being simply deferred instead of rejected, and at that point you can send in your new SAT scores and whatnot.

For the self-studies, how do I mention it / where do I list that? Add it to my list of extra-curriculars?

And yes, it would be rolling admissons. Cincy starts admissions in August, so the earlier the better. I’d still probably be alright with my current score, but not 100% shoe-in.
