For NYU Steinhardt School supplementary materials, it tells me to send them my art portfolio on a CD-ROM… but isn’t a CD-ROM not writable…

You can put things on a blank CD.

so I can burn my portfolio onto a CD-ROM?
or did you use a CD-R?

I didn’t apply to Steinhardt, but you can go to Wal-Mart and buy blank CDs to put music on, if that’s what you’re looking for.

There are different types of CDs and NYU wants me to use a CD-ROM, but apparently CD-ROM’s aren’t writable… I’ll just email them
Anyway thanks for your replies!:)

Put it on a CD-R, “close it” (so it’s playable), verify it’s playable (on another PC), mail it. Done.
