Bush Administration Outrageous Remarks on Iran

Apparantely an unnamed Bush administration official said this:

This regime, thanks to God, has lost the reason for its existence…Efforts to stabilize this…regime, by the grace of God, have completely failed… You should believe that this regime is disappearing

The official also called Iranian leaders a “group of terrorists” and threatened any country that supports the Islamic state

“You imposed a group of terrorists … on the region,” the unnamed said, addressing the Iran and its ally Syria. “It is in your own interest to distance yourself from these criminals… This is an ultimatum. Don’t complain tomorrow.”

This is some heavy stuff. Does not seem like it will help Amrica in its “battle” with Iran. I was also surprised to see how many times the guy mentioned God as if it were some kind of crusade.

Please be responsible with your posts. Does this look familair:

It only took about 10 seconds with Google to find the truth about this bogus claim. I suggest that you stop looking at whatever source you found this tripe on. A key tip is the “thanks to God” phrase - this is commonly found in Islamist jargon.

It’s been a while since I have heard any of the administration use the phrase: Alhamdullah…or in English, “Thanks to God.”

Not much given to Allahu Akbar, for that matter.

The plan was to see how some liberals would react f they beieved this was said by Bush administration, and then check their consistancy after revealig that it was said by Iranian pres.

A most reliable source!

“Apparantely (sic) an unnamed Bush administration official said this:”

I bet it was Jeff Gannon.

“It has also become clear that we face an escalating danger from Shia extremists who…take direction from the regime in Iran. The Shia and Sunni extremists are different faces of the same totalitarian threat.”

“The plan was to see how some liberals would react f they beieved this was said by Bush”

Next time you want to put one over on us, you might try using a quote that wasn’t thoroughly discussed earlier today on the same board.
