business card etiquette-

My D is doing speaking at her school and will be looking for intenrships, etc…i am going back to school and will also be looking for work and such

People ask for contact information, and having a business card would be great, but I need clarification as to what to include

This would be akin to the old fashioned calling card, but with email and cell phone etc

What is the current trend in the department?

thanks, oh wise ones

I have some that have just that, name, email, cell phone. No title, no cutsy pictures, on blue stock. You can get them made a Kinkos pretty cheap. I use them all the time. (Getting tennis matches, kid’s friends parents, etc.)

Yes, just a nice plain card with the needed info. You can go a little wild with the selection of type face of font. Should be under $20 or so for a bunch.

You can make them yourself with any decent printer. They have pre-perforated card stock that separates with a very clean edge. Check out Office Depot or Office Max where they sell sheets of labels.
