<p>There are lots of jobs in this field. Here are a few examples:</p>
<p>Business Analyst, Computer Programmer, Security Specialist, Network Technician, Infrastructure expert, Database Administrator, IT Auditor, IT Consultant, System Administrator–and, of course, there are managerial positions in all of these areas, leading to Director of Applications, Director of Networks/Computer Operations, and Chief Information Officer. </p>
<p>Also, these people have better chances nowadays to move into other Executive Management positions–although this is normally easier at computer or high-tech firms.</p>
