Business major - need input: Rutgers vs GW vs Drexel vs UPitt

Business major - Rutgers Vs Drexel vs UPitt vs GW - ALL CLOSE BY and Cost is not a factor because with aid more or less similar cost. Need your valuable inputs. Thanks in advance

Great, great (with co op), great and great.

Does the student want a large flagship (with buses) vs. a city school vs. a city school but with more a campus vs an uber urban school?

What is the desired outcome?

No wrong answer here.

You might ask each for a detailed career outcome report - to see how the grads end up - to help guide your decision.

Best of luck.

d24 prefers urban type campus and ok with large. She loves like these cute cafes and libraries. Drexel has the checkmarks but she hates quarter system. So wish Drexel had the semester one

GW is uber urban (main campus) - has the 2nd Mt. Vernon campus) Then maybe Pitt - which is in the Oakland neighborhood.

Both are semester I believe.

Good luck

Some thoughts. I’m a Pitt fan boi because it’s a great balance of things in a very livable city. But…YMMV. Really depends on that you want

Actual Campus
Rutgers > Pitt = Drexel > GW

School Spirit/Sports
Pitt = Rutgers >>> GW = Drexel

Culture/City
GW > Drexel = Pitt >> Rutgers

Proximity to Jobs
Drexel = GW > Rutgers > Pitt

Flexible curriculum/Ability to get out in 7 semesters (if you care)
Pitt > Rutgers = GW >> Drexel

Did you get into honors or LLCs anywhere?

Food is bad at all of these schools - I don’t think GW even has a cafeteria - but the proximity of good food walking distance in Pittsburgh probably puts Pitt over the other three. Rutgers maybe second if on College ave.

Everything You Need to Know About GWU Dining Halls

Three dining halls

Three dining halls are located on the Foggy Bottom campus, and one is on the Mount Vernon campus. Students can use Dining Dollars at these locations if they have a Block or Legacy Plan without unlimited meal swipes.

I think what @BoroDad said was true until two years ago or so. The entire dining plan - on the main campus - was local restaurants - using dining dollars, etc… Craziest thing I ever heard.

But they added a dining program - I think the year mine would have been a first year - so 2021.

Point being…George Washington University NOW does have dining halls.

I stand corrected

Thanks for taking the time for the inputs. Will be visiting Upitt next weekend to decide. Just visited GW today. Yes dining halls were there, D24 liked the college a lot but seems on expensive side.

If you are heading to Pitt
