<p>did not know where to put, engg or business so ended up here…(and parenst forum as well but i get the impression, we kinds dun really go there much)… :p</p>
<p>i have a chem+biomolecular engineering offer from NTU(uni in singapore) and a business managemt and accountancy (double deg) offer from SMU(another uni here)…
thign is i kinda have interests in both engg n bizz… but the impression i am gettin nowadays for bio engg types of jobs that it will be pretty lab based…(is it true)… which i dun really like…the double deg def looks tempting and i am was thinking(while applyin to smu) that if i dun get engg, i can perhaps do business and work in a life sciences/sciences kind of company… on the other hand i noe the option of engg+MBA as well…</p>
<p>yest i had a scholarship inetrview for business at smu… the main prob is that i still have not decided btw the 2 courses and it was pretty clear by the interviewers that they were kinda hesistant to award me cos i might turn it down and end up doin engg in ntu or the other uni where i applied engg as well whereas there are a lot of students who are sure abt business…</p>
<p>however, i have not been shortlisted for any scholarship at ntu and doubt will be at the other engg uni as well… </p>
<p>my friend suggested that if i make up my mind on business then i can contact smua nd tell them i really wanna do buss and reconsider me for the scholarship… (i really feel had a gd chance on that scholrship if i had been clear cut abt my choice)…</p>
<p>oh well… i am really confused n dunno wat to do… someone please give ur comments, suggestion, thoughts on engg and more on business…
